My Background:
I became involved in the food, wine and hospitality industry over 25 years ago. I was an original "foodie" before The Food Network was created. I love everything about food, wine, entertaining, recipes, cooking, celebrity chefs, restaurants, wine shops, culinary magazines and cooking shows.
My background in events planning has provided me the opportunity to enjoy the delicious cuisines of hundreds of fine dining restaurants throughout my career. These experiences, along with an early inspiration and love of cooking, began my passion of all things culinary.
I am a devoted reader of cookbooks and delight in refining recipes. For the past 12 years, I have created and styled food for photography that has appeared in magazines, cookbooks and television commercials. I have authored food and wine articles for local area magazines. I also published a cookbook with my favorite recipes and wine pairings (Awesome Wines Best Recipes), and currently enjoy teaching cooking and wine classes.
For three years, I produced and hosted Good Libations, The Wine Show, an hour-long weekly radio show noted for its interesting content and recognized wine industry guests. My experience in marketing and selling fine wines to upscale restaurants and wine shops throughout Arizona, has provided me an in depth knowledge of this subject.
As a restaurant consultant, I am available to assist owners with pre-opening tasks, menu planning, marketing outreach, and social media planning and implementation.
I am creative at designing and marketing food and wine events, enjoy writing and blogging, and am available to help you create and market your culinary ideas.
